Let me tell you a little about my teaching career! I started working with kids in High School and college as an After School Teacher, Camp Counselor, and Assistant Teacher. I began my 21 year teaching career in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades teaching all subject areas but specializing in Writing. After transferring schools, I began teaching 1st and 2nd grades and is where the remaining 15 years of teaching was spent. During this time I completed numerous classes perfecting my teaching techniques in Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. I was also an Inclusion Teacher teaching ESE students in all subject areas! I am passionate about teaching and absolutely love integrating Language Arts into Science and Social Studies creating exciting and educational units that will create a lifelong love of learning.
